"hey babe, take a walk on the wild side"

There is a sense of adventure as we begin a new year, but for many that energy will be crucified before we even get to Easter... Unless we plan to keep it alive!

Matt & Len from 'Wildside' led an adventurous team to Nepal last year and have another trip planned for October 2020 which coincides with Nepal's 'Visit Nepal 2020' campaign that encourages visitors to visit Nepal and discover "Experiences of a Lifetime".

Perhaps, like me, you might be somewhat daunted by the idea of climbing Everest, 8,848 meters is a rather challenging adventure! However the tour offered by 'Wildside' is a delightful opportunity to discover that there is a wealth of adventure to be experienced in the sights and culture that Nepal has to offer.

Take a few minutes to enjoy the video of the 2019 Wildside Adventure, and just maybe that will give you something to consider when you look ahead to all the possibilities that 2020 has in store for us all.

Included in the adventure, that is about capturing some wonderful images and experiences, is a visit to IGWR-Nepal and a glimpse of the work and life that comes with supporting some sixty plus children. An opportunity to discover that everyone, and anyone, can make a difference in the world.

And perhaps, making a difference is what makes life an adventure.

We look forward to hosting a number of visitors in 2020, and some of our senior students (those studying hospitality at college) will be assisting various groups with guided tours in Kathmandu and some of the surrounding 'sites'.

I realise that this "News" item is sounding like an advertisement, maybe that's because I also want to share with everyone the Adventure that has been so much a part of my life for nearly fifteen years.

Nepal is a stunning place, but the real adventure is what one discovers on the journey.

"I have recently come back from a two week Nepal adventure organised by Wildside Tours. I can only describe this experience as simply amazing!!"
